So scrap my last post (not the outfit of course), its been above 30 degrees for the last 6 days! Unheard of for Melbs, last time this happened was in the 1960s. So the legs are back out and I'm dressing to keep cool. Introducing my new fav, the cobalt blue floral shirt. My amazing sister spotted this one hiding in our local Cotton On shop. The print is frickin fabulous - electric colour and great detail which gives it a nice designer feel. The best thing about shirts is their ability to be worn loose fitted. They are self conscious safe and sweat patch safe! Perfect for hot sticky weather. I kept it basic and tight on the bottom to avoid any moo moo appearance and finished the look off with some staple summer white sandals. I know we are all looking forward to some cooler weather and some new outfits to follow, but hang in there, chuck on a shirt, we'll be complaining when its over!

It's starting to be that slightly cooler weather where you need a little sweater! Im not complaining in anyway I should add, Melb summer has actually been great but that cool chill is just around the corner. You especially feel it at night where you just need that little extra layer. Thats when a good sweater comes in. Its a easy transeasonal look which you can literally chuck on. This Cooper St number has a statement split black and woven detail which elevates it into the fashion credit arena. Some simple accessories help tie it all together. You must check out With Love Kirsten online boutique for some amazingly cheap accessories that will polish off any look. Start making your 2013 list ladies, it's that exciting time in fashion were the new trends start rolling out and you decide your season must-haves. Why not get organised and start ticking that list off! The staple sweater, one big tick for me.
